NAHT is pleased to welcome Alexandria Barnes Porter to the Team! Barnes Porter is an experienced affordable housing developer. Well versed in low-income housing tax credit deals, she currently is a Development Advisor for NAHT’s Development Advisory Services Team. In this role, Barnes Porter advises developers in all phases from concept to closing. Before working at NAHT, Alexandria worked in the Development departments for both Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority and The Community Builders. She currently serves on two boards: Greater Cincinnati’s Affordable Housing Advocates and Homebase Cincinnati. Barnes Porter holds a Master’s in Urban Spatial Analytics from University of Pennsylvania’s School of Design where she focused her research on community and economic development. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Wellesley College. In her free time, she enjoys running and going on adventures with her husband and two sons.
